Hooded Menace

Hooded Menace is a now three piece band from Joensuu, Finland. Lasse on vocals in the studio and guitar, Pekka on drums, Teemu on guitar and Markus on vocals during live shows and bass. They are a death / doom metal band with horror lyrics. Hooded Menace was formed by Lasse in the summer of 2007. Influenced by the first Cathedral album, Winter, and Asphyx. The band wanted to play really doom - laden death metal that combines crushing and somber riffs with just a slight hint of melody that comes from their love for the early Candlemass albums from the 80s. The Band lyrically drew their inspiration from the classic Spanish horor series The Blind Dead that includes the films "Tomb of the Blind Dead", "Return of the Evil Dead", "Horror of the Zombies", and "Night of the Seagulls".
